Guys, I’m not even kidding. I used to be a HUGE meat eater. Like huge. I’ve been reducing the amount of animal products I consume, but I never liked veggie burgers. Until now.
Here’s the recipe:
-Morningstar Farms Grillers’ Prime Burger -Whole Wheat Hamburger Bun (I used Brownberry) -Spinach -1/8 cup Daiya Cheddar Style Shreds -1 Tbsp mayo (or veganaise!!) -1/2 Tbsp ketchup
Heat up the veggie burger on a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3-ish minutes on each side. When the burger is finished cooking, put it off to the side. Start melting the cheese on the skillet, and replace the burger ON TOP OF THE CHEESE!! After cheese is all gooey, put the bottom bun on the burger, and flip it over onto a plate. Top with spinach, ketchup, and mayo (or your own favorite toppings) and enjoy!
Macros: 454 cals, 23g protein, 35g carbs, 24g fat
